Saniweb and iO relaunch the best bathroom webshop in the Netherlands

Eindhoven, 5 September 2022 — Saniweb has been the largest online player in the bathroom world in the Netherlands and Belgium since 2009. In collaboration with end-to-end agency iO, Saniweb is relaunching its webshop, to serve the increasing number of mobile users better.
New look, the same exceptional functionalities
This year, for the second time in a row, Saniweb has voted the best online store in the 'Kitchen and Bathroom' category of the Shopping Awards. Nevertheless, the company wants to keep raising the bar by improving the customer experience on the website, making the design more attractive, and offering users a more personal approach. The new webshop also had to work faster — and rank better in search engines — and stimulate cross- and upselling.
During the project, iO and Saniweb teams worked intensively together. A permanent project team, from UX to development, provided the necessary efficiency and flexibility so that the renewed Adobe Commerce webshop was ready for launch within four months. This is possible with long-term collaborations: after all, Saniweb and iO have been working together since 2013, and they will continue to optimise the webshop in the future.
