Bonzai User policy

1. Introduction

This policy outlines the terms and conditions for using IO Bonzai, iO's AI-powered assistant Bonzai. It applies to all users, including iO employees and its clients. By using iO Bonzai, you agree to comply with this policy. 

2. Acceptable Use

  • Use IO Bonzai only for lawful purposes and in compliance with iO's usage instructions.

  • Do not use IO Bonzai to generate content that violates laws, public order, moral standards, or societal decency.

  • Respect ethical guidelines and intellectual property rights when using iO Bonzai. Users must adhere to the Microsoft Responsible Ai standard.

  • You are solely responsible for the expertise using the AI system and the results generated by the AI system. To this end, the Customer shall only engage individuals who possess sufficient technical knowledge, experience, education, and training regarding (the use of) AI systems and who have an understanding of the context in which the AI systems will be used, as well as the individuals or groups of individuals on whom the AI systems will be applied.

3. Data Handling and Privacy

  • Do not input sensitive or confidential information into iO Bonzai unless explicitly authorized.

  • Anonymize data whenever possible before using it with /in iO Bonzai.

  • Be aware that certain generic information provided to iO Bonzai may be used to improve the system.

4. Intellectual Property

  • iO retains rights to iO Bonzai and any further developments of the tool.

  • Outputs generated by iO Bonzai may be subject to specific licensing terms, which will be communicated when applicable.

5. Liability and Accuracy

  • iO Bonzai's outputs should be verified and may contain errors.

  • Users are responsible for reviewing and validating iO Bonzai-generated content before use.

  • iO is not liable for decisions made based on iO Bonzai's outputs.

6. Confidentiality

  • Treat all interactions with iO Bonzai as confidential.

  • Do not share iO Bonzai-generated content without proper authorization.

  • Do not use confidential information in interactions with iO Bonzai

7. Updates and Changes

iO reserves the right to update this policy. Users will be notified of significant changes.

8. Consent and Acknowledgment

By using iO Bonzai, you consent to the terms outlined in this policy and acknowledge that you have read and understood its contents.
