What you'll do
Do you have the organizational skills to successfully manage challenging digital projects within a fast-growing organization? Are you a technical wizard with great communication skills and at least 8 years of experience?
As a technical project manager at iO, you'll lead various web projects, from content platforms to fully customized applications. You're the link between the client and the technical team, effortlessly translating the client's wishes into clear briefs. With your technical background, that's naturally a piece of cake!
You'll have input from the ground up in determining scope & budgets and always search for the best solutions. Together with your team and the client, you determine which working method best fits the project (waterfall - scrum - kanban) and you always ensure that you deliver quality results on time. You get satisfaction from organizing status meetings, following up with third parties, and proactively communicating with our partners. The administrative side of a project doesn't scare you either.
You may also contribute to presales phase support: participating in sales meetings, preparing proposals, and helping determine project budgets. You don't shy away from that, do you?
You'll join our technology teams and manage various teams consisting of experts from diverse disciplines (developers, QA, UX, copywriters, designers, …). You enjoy working in a team and that comes in handy at iO. As this role involves daily communication with clients and colleagues, fluency in Dutch is essential, and a good understanding of French is required.

Your qualities and skills as Technical Project Manager
Experience in digital project management - You have already worked on great websites and web applications, both graphically and technically
Technical expertise - You have technical knowledge to correctly estimate and deliver projects. You can effortlessly justify your time estimates and make realistic plans and proposals. You take into account margins, doubts, and uncertainties
Budget preparation experience - You have experience with preparing budgets. Together with your colleagues, you prepare detailed quotes. If a client has questions about your quote, you can respond with clear arguments
Team integration - You will join our Dutch & French -speaking team
Work approach - You work efficiently, structured, and persist until you achieve results
Communication skills - Thanks to your open communication style, it's no problem for you to ask for help where needed. After all, you don't stand alone and can count on enthusiastic colleagues who are happy to share their experience
Additional advantages - Do you also have experience with JIRA and Confluence or experience as a developer? Then that's certainly an additional advantage!
