What you'll do
As a .NET Developer at iO, you will help build .NET software solutions. You will contribute to the development, implementation, and optimization of concrete .NET (web) applications for high-impact projects. With your skills, you will ensure that hundreds of thousands of users have an optimal experience.
You will develop algorithms and APIs in C# in an extensive and versatile web landscape. You will integrate with external systems and technical layers.
You will not be doing this alone. As part of a cross-campus team of five developers, you will contribute to the further development of a data platform for a progressive building materials company that operates worldwide. You will find satisfaction in mentoring and training less experienced developers, while having plenty of room to develop your own talents and ambitions. You will work with colleagues from Belgium, Bulgaria and other iO countries.
Together, you will be responsible for the entire process, working closely with each customer, and inspiring each other to continue to grow and improve.
Of course, you have experience as a .NET Developer. But we also find it even more important to know who you are. Sharing your knowledge and experience with your colleagues? We'd love that! Together, you inspire each other to go the extra mile.
Your qualities and skills as Senior .Net Developer
You have a bachelor's or master's degree in IT and at least 4 years of relevant work experience. Experience working in a digital agency is a plus.
You are strong in ASP.NET (Core) and know how to develop and maintain REST APIs. You closely follow the latest developments of the .NET ecosystem.
You feel at home in a complex .NET landscape with APIs, long-running processes, data ingestion and transformation, where you can fully utilize your expertise. Working with events and asynchronous data processing is child's play for you.
You are familiar with cloud services such as AWS and Azure, and have experience with components such as Azure Functions, App Services, Key Vault, Service Bus, and more. Git and Docker hold no secrets for you, and setting up CI/CD pipelines is also one of your skills.
You have experience setting up high-performance search solutions that use Elasticsearch.
You also have experience with Application Insights, telemetry, and monitoring and tracking logging, so you not only build applications, but also proactively optimize them.
You know how to test, refine, and take existing .NET applications to the next level. Performance, unit testing, and integration testing are second nature to you.
You feel at home in an agile environment: you contribute ideas about technical analyses, solution design, and workload estimates. You take responsibility, communicate clearly, and actively contribute to the team's success.
