It all starts with the right question
It's easy to get caught up in how AI can be used. But there's a more important question to ask first: What needs to work better? Or what problem are we actually trying to solve?
More often than not, it comes down to a workflow, a process or knowledge that is no longer fit for purpose. That's when AI becomes an enabler.
Case study: WWF and Hedgehog Week
During this breakfast talk, we'll share a project we developed together with WWF that shows how AI can improve processes, workflows and decision support.
For the past three years, WWF has organised Hedgehog Week, a citizen science initiative where people across Sweden help map one of the country's most threatened species. Every year, the project generates more observations and more valuable knowledge.
But as the amount of information grows, so does a new challenge: how do you make an expanding knowledge base useful in day-to-day work?
Together, we explored how AI could become a new interface to that knowledge. The result was a solution combining a structured database, a dashboard and AI-powered conversational search.
Instead of manually searching, filtering and compiling information, WWF can now ask questions directly to the data and receive answers in seconds. A practical example of how AI can create operational impact when it starts with a real need.
