For Intracto Group, this acquisition is another solid step forward in the Netherlands. With the expertise and experience of GUC Agency in the specific fields of strategy and creation, Intracto Group strengthens its current offering in technology, content and marketing. The entire management of GUC Agency will remain actively involved and become a shareholder in Intracto Group.
At the heart of GUC Agency’s operations is the objective of truly bringing brands to life. Across mass and social media, in the digital domain and on the work floor.
Before GUC Agency was given its current name at the end of 2018, they were known as Goud Uberconnected, an agency that already experienced a significant organic growth thanks to striking brand campaigns, activations and social media. The agency had previously made a number of strategic acquisitions with Icemedia (digital), Redmint (retail) and DIFR (experiential). Currently all expertise is housed at the Surinameplein in Amsterdam.
Brian Hirman, Managing Partner of GUC Agency, is tasked with building further on the office proposition while supporting the growth of Intracto Group.
Brian Hirman: “We have grown significantly in recent years, both in terms of clients and team. Today, we can build on a solid and super healthy organisation that can offer a wide range of online and offline expertise to our clients”.
“When we came into contact with Intracto Group, we quickly saw the opportunities to develop our proposition even further in both width and depth. We both have strong growth ambitions and saw opportunities to become even stronger together”.
“Clients in the Netherlands and Belgium need to know that they can come to us for full-service projects and thus a sophisticated and integrated solution. The more challenging the marketing communication question, the better”.
Pieter Janssens, CEO Intracto Group: “The cases of GUC Agency speak volumes. Look at what they have done for brands such as Coop (360° brand campaign) and VANS (advanced data and insights in retail). GUC Agency guarantees innovative, creative and result-oriented through-the-line solutions”. “After we previously acquired Frontmen, we are now investing in a promising Amsterdam-based agency again. Our ambition remains clear: to take the lead in Amsterdam and the Netherlands and become top-of-mind in the sector through impactful realisations”. The acquisition brings the total number of team members in the Netherlands to 345. The entire Intracto Group now has 700 experts on board.
