What you'll do
Email is your primary domain, but your role sits within a broader marketing automation and CRM context — and your scope goes well beyond execution. You own your projects from start to finish.
Email campaign management
You plan, build, test, and deploy email campaigns across platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, or similar tools
You translate client objectives into clear, effective email strategies — think customer journeys, segmentation, personalisation, A/B testing, and performance reporting
You monitor campaign results, identify optimisation opportunities, and turn data into actionable insights
You contribute to broader marketing automation and CRM initiatives, supporting clients in getting more out of their platforms and data
Client management
On projects where there is no dedicated account manager, you are the single point of contact (SPOC) for your clients
You build strong working relationships, manage expectations proactively, and communicate clearly — both on day-to-day matters and on strategic questions
You know how to translate a client's marketing goals into a concrete plan of action
Project management
You manage your own projects autonomously: planning, timing, budgets, status reporting, and administrative follow-up are all part of your scope
You keep an overview across multiple simultaneous projects without losing attention to detail
You coordinate with internal specialists (strategists, developers, designers) and brief them clearly when needed
Who you are
You're a hands-on digital marketeer with a passion for email marketing — and you know there's a lot more to it than hitting "send". You understand the full lifecycle of an email campaign: from strategy and briefing to build, test, deploy, and report. You're autonomous, well-organised, and just as comfortable in a client call as you are setting up a segmentation logic or reviewing a campaign report.
At iO, you'll join a team of 2,000+ digital experts across 5 countries and 12 campuses. You'll work on ambitious projects for a diverse portfolio of clients — and no two days will look the same.
