Arjan van der Kooij

Arjan van der Kooij is a team leader and trainer at the Cooperation Organisation for Vocational Education, Training and the Labour Market (SBB), where since 2015 he has headed the South-West team within the ‘Technology and Built Environment’ sector unit. In this role, he manages a team of ten practical learning advisers who support training companies in the labour market regions of Rotterdam-Rijnmond, Gorinchem-Drechtsteden, West Brabant and Zeeland in matters related to vocational education and labour market issues.

With more than 25 years of experience in various managerial and advisory positions, Arjan has built extensive expertise in relationship management, coaching and professional mentoring, as well as in designing and delivering training courses and workshops. His specific areas of focus lie within the market segments of Civil and Non-Residential Construction and Specialised Contracting.
