Are you an expert in translating complex information and produces to easy-to-understand, engaging web content?

As a Content Strategist at iO, your main goal will be helping our client ensure the online experience meets visitor’s needs and the organisation's goals. That means you're comfortable with developing, editing and organising content. Do you have a strong interest in political or economic content? That's great! Because we're looking for someone who wants to dive deep into the complexity of the public sector. On a day-to-day basis, you will work closely with UX designers, Business Analysts, The communication Department and other external agencies to ensure the ideal content and channels.

The team:

You will work in the client's team and also often at their offices. This way, you can best share your expertise with them and be present where needed. In addition, you will be supported by the iO team who will guide and help you whenever you would have questions. You are fully part of iO and will also receive all the accompanying benefits.

In addition, knowledge is the basis of everything you do at iO. That means you not only grow by working on challenging projects in small-scale teams. Or that you can completely shape your personal growth path yourself. There are all kinds of initiatives you can share in or organise yourself, such as Expert Groups, meet-ups or hackathons.

Wat je meebrengt als Content Strategist

You are a native English speaker
You have minimum 8 years’ experience
You have worked with one or more of the European Union institutions
You have experience and knowledge in the following areas: user experience design, content strategy, information architecture, web writing and editing, page design/layout, web analytics
You have excellent writing, editing and communication skills
You can demonstrate work across user testing; research and analysis; structuring, drafting, defending and documenting site/section/page structures
You have experience working with Excel, Figma, content management systems
You understands that content leads website design
You are comfortable with analytics, familiar with usability testing
