How to manage a range of websites while meeting client expectations?

D'Ieteren Automotive, the official distributor of Volkswagen Group brands in Belgium, was looking for a partner with the skills and expertise to support their e-commerce team. The group called on iO's experts to facilitate more responsive and flexible management of its digital content across the brand’s various websites.

Results

In all, 6 people work on the project : 4 D'Ieteren webmasters, a project manager  supervising incoming briefings and distributing tasks, and an account director who takes care of the project, customer relationships, the team set-up, budgets, and ad hoc problem solving.

The iO team manages 8 websites: Audi, CUPRA, SEAT, Volkswagen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Škoda, Porsche, Microlino, D'Ieteren Luxury Performance and Group Mobility Solutions.

This team is a major asset for the group:

  • Familiarity with the CMS

  • Resolving technical issues quickly and efficiently

  • Coordinating with stakeholders, such as developers, creatives, marketers, and content experts

Challenge

Optimise and manage websites in line with the client’s expectations.

Solution

We brought together a team of 4 webmasters to work on the project. Accompanied by a project manager to oversee and refine incoming briefings, the iO team manages day-to-day responsibilities while maintaining an overview of the brands' digital content and their campaigns.
