Your role

Are you ready to empower our enterprise-level clients on their digital transformation journey?

Come join iO as a Service Designer and make a real difference for both people and organisations. By designing services that seamlessly align with user needs and business objectives, you'll play a pivotal role in revolutionising digital experiences. You’ll be the orchestrator our clients need, establishing the dialogue between user experiences, the operational model, and the supporting technologies.

Your job is to discover how services work, get to know the users, unravel the entire spectrum of stakeholders, and paint a picture of the challenges organisations face in their digital transformation. You’ll deliver benchmarks, inspiration analyses, and ideation sessions that’ll allow our clients to improve their services or concepts. Furthermore, you’ll help prototyping and testing these initiatives and map them into a ‘to-be’ blueprint of the service reimagined.

Thanks to your experience in digital product management, you’re also able to support clients in defining the scope of their digital products, establishing product-market fit, overseeing design and transfer to engineering, as well as facilitating go-live events for new digital services.

Your team:

You’ll join the strategic team of Campus Antwerp, but work for clients in different areas, most likely in Brussels. Your iO colleagues are smart minds with tons of expertise in service, transformation, user experience and activation design. Together, you’ll work on service design challenges in the public and private sector that require insight, data and research.

Your qualities and skills as Service Designer

You’ve got 3+ years of experience as a Service Designer or Product Manager in a digital transformation initiative;
You’re familiar with the service design framework and its main tools (basic user research, experience journeys, blueprinting, prototyping, testing, market fit analysis, go-to-market, operational models, etc.);
People praise your analytical mind and superior cognitive empathy, that allows you to understand the needs of users and clients;
You thrive when working autonomously yet interdependently with other team members, report on progress in a structured way and easily take clients by the hand;
Organising workshops with multiple stakeholders and pluridisciplinary teams is something you feel comfortable with. You always document outcomes and ensure follow-up;
You’ve got a good executive presence and ability to communicate professionally with senior stakeholders;
You speak French and English fluently and (ideally) have a basic understanding of Dutch;
You’re willing to work on-site at our clients’ offices a couple of days a week, most likely in Brussels.
