Feeling lucky? You might just win the lottery …
Grab some clover, throw some salt over your shoulder and avoid ladders and black cats for a while. Because only lucky people get this job: we’re looking for a Junior Digital Designer to work on the National Lottery!
Of course, luck will only get you halfway there. We’re also looking for someone who already has some experience and who’s ready to jump in right from the start to produce digital ads and assets for the National Lottery.
Your main responsibilities? Creating a wide variety of static visuals (ads, social media, website, bannering storyboards, …) and animations for social platforms. We do get the odd request for print materials as well. That doesn’t send you running for the hills? Great. Read on!
You’ll be part of a dedicated team that works cross-campus. Your home base will be Campus Antwerp (and your own living room/couch/home office because we’re flexible like that), but we pay our colleagues in Brussels a visit once a week. You don’t need a car: if you can prove you have a stellar playlist, you get to hitch a ride with your colleagues.
Of course, we don’t expect you to stay a ‘junior’ designer forever! At iO, knowledge is the foundation of everything you do. Our focus is on autonomy and you’ll get plenty of opportunities for personal growth. Do you want to follow courses to sharpen your skills? We’ve got a budget for that!
There’s also room for leisure: apart from a game of FIFA or foosball with your colleagues and a Friday beer, you’ll also get to play the newest Woohoo game before it’s launched and call it “preparation for a campaign” (alas you can’t win real money with it).
We’ll love you for your great personality and being able to Photoshop your colleagues into funny situations, but we also need you to be able to master the following:
You don’t mind repetitive work, love working efficiently, and have organized files.
You can stay focused and see a challenge in delivering pixel-perfect materials that are guideline-proof, even at a fast pace.
You know every single dropdown menu in Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, and InDesign like your own face.
You’re familiar with the basics of Sketch, Figma, and XD and you’re able to read and understand (not write) HTML and CSS for storyboarding.
You don’t like to be put in a box or at least don’t mind going outside your box to help out a colleague (like testing assets on the National Lottery platforms).
You’re communicative. Something is not clear? Ask questions. Have a great idea as part of a campaign? Speak up!
You preferably speak Dutch, or you can fluently express yourself in English and have a solid understanding of French and Dutch.
Do we feel a match? Then we’ll take action right away. Starting with a meet & greet (face-to-face or virtually) – you know: first impressions and all that!
That wasn’t too bad, was it? If we both have a good feeling about our first meeting, we’ll invite you for a short assessment to check how you can grow at iO. When and where it fits you, of course.
There’s a bunch of people here who are very eager to meet you. The next time we talk, two of your potential coworkers will join us to discuss the results of your assessment.
Are we all still excited? Congrats: it’s time to sign your contract! We’ll go over all the practicalities together and we’ll make sure you have everything you need to get started.
Whether you live in Stockholm, Amsterdam, or somewhere in the Flemish fields, there’s always a campus close to home. Find out where to get a job and what's great about campus life after college.
You’re giving us your time, dedication and your talent. And we’re very grateful for it. But what do you get in return? Here’s what to expect.
Dive into projects that really challenge you. Are you missing specific knowledge or skills? There’s always a colleague around who’s happy to help you out.
With more than 1500 colleagues, you’ll be surrounded by the expertise you need to ace every project and get a lot of satisfaction from your job. At the same time, your campus feels small, cozy and homely.
Everyone on your team brings new perspectives, interesting insights and valuable skills to the table. This way you’re part of something much bigger than just your own skill set.
At iO you continue to grow and learn. Training sessions on campus will help you develop skills you’d never even thought of. And with a personal training budget, you can fully develop your true potential.
A tasty lunch, prepared with care? Admit it: you’d come to the office for less. Add to that weekly fruit baskets and fresh ice cream when the weather calls for it and it’ll be hard to keep you away, won’t it?
Signed your contract? Then you’ve also signed up for Halloween dress-up parties, barbeques during 30-degree weather and our legendary Christmas party (totally optional of course!)
Your physical and mental well-being matters to you – and to us just as much. Count on interesting workshops, (online) sports events on campus and a shoulder to cry on when you need it.
A little help goes a long way. On many of our campuses, you’ll enjoy extra facilities, so you can focus on more important matters.
