About the job
Are you going to be the knight in shining armour for one of our campuses? As an IT Service Desk Consultant, you’ll solve any IT related issue or problem.
You’ll be welcomed by the IT-team in one of our iO-campuses: Brussels. There, you’ll be surrounded by a multidisciplinary team of experts that will always be there to support you. But when it comes to your job, you’ll be focusing on the rest of your colleagues: whether it’s a password reset or an app that doesn’t function properly anymore, they can count on your help.
Furthermore, when new colleagues enter our campus, you ensure that they’re IT products function properly. You prepare Windows/Mac devices for your new colleagues so they can get to work quickly and easily. And of course, that doesn’t mean just pushing the on/off-button.
Knowledge lies at the centre of everything you do. Cultivating and sharing that knowledge is very important to us. You wouldn’t want to settle for staying up to date, would you? The interaction with the experts in your team will definitely help you grow, but iO offers more opportunities on top of that. You can take part in Expert Groups or meet-ups and you can organise learning opportunities yourself, if you like.
Your qualities and skills as IT Servicedesk Consultant
Experience in a similar position is a big plus but your personality is more important;
Because of your open and service-minded approach, your colleagues like to come to you when they have questions. You love solving any IT issue and answering any question;
You know how to work with Microsoft Windows and Apple MacOS, Office 365 and ticketing systems;
And of course, you’re bursting with enthusiasm to get to work!
