Your role

Will you ensure that all our solutions make sense down to the last detail?

Do you question everything to find out how something works? And do you have the gift of going from a challenging problem to a well thought-out solution? Then, as Functional Analyst, you might soon be our first point of contact when it comes to coming up with smart online and offline products.

With each new project, you first make a functional analysis to determine what exactly a digital product must do and be able to do. For this, you start from the customer's ideas, but of course you also get help from your technical lead, UX designer, project manager and other team members. Afterwards, you continue to monitor the project.

During all phases of the project, you keep your analysis close at hand and carefully monitor the objectives you have set. Your critical skills are more important than any technical knowledge. We rely on your solution-oriented brain to come up with products that are a win-win for all concerned. In return, you can count on a customer base with a lot of variety: both for small start-ups and international market leaders, your expertise will be a great added value.

Your qualities and skills as Functional Analyst

  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and like to work autonomously as well as in a team. How to make clear agreements is therefore not strange to you;

  • Friends would describe you as a social and communicative person. But also as someone who likes to think out-of-the-box and critically;

  • You have experience in maintaining long-term professional relationships;

  • You have a good understanding of the functional aspects of complex digital applications. Knowledge of Jira and Confluence is a plus;

  • The term 'agility' in the broad sense of the word fits you well: you have a flexible mind and a natural drive to develop yourself further.

    Dive into projects that really challenge you. Are you missing specific knowledge or skills? There’s always a colleague around who’s happy to help you out.

  • A lot of satisfaction

    With more than 1500 colleagues, you’ll be surrounded by the expertise you need to ace every project and get a lot of satisfaction from your job. At the same time, your campus feels small, cozy and homely.

  • Digitally diverse

    Everyone on your team brings new perspectives, interesting insights and valuable skills to the table. This way you’re part of something much bigger than just your own skill set.

  • Tools and training

    At iO you continue to grow and learn. Training sessions on campus will help you develop skills you’d never even thought of. And with a personal training budget, you can fully develop your true potential.

  • Lunch and snacks

    A tasty lunch, prepared with care? Admit it: you’d come to the office for less. Add to that weekly fruit baskets and fresh ice cream when the weather calls for it and it’ll be hard to keep you away, won’t it?

  • An ambitious party committee

    Signed your contract? Then you’ve also signed up for Halloween dress-up parties, barbeques during 30-degree weather and our legendary Christmas party (totally optional of course!)

  • A healthy work environment

    Your physical and mental well-being matters to you – and to us just as much. Count on interesting workshops, (online) sports events on campus and a shoulder to cry on when you need it.

  • Extra facilities

    A little help goes a long way. On many of our campuses, you’ll enjoy extra facilities, so you can focus on more important matters.
