Your role
Do you want to make an impact with cloud innovation in a forward-thinking marketing agency? Do you feel like taking on challenging projects for large organisations such as Knab, De Goudse Verzekeringen and Aruba Bank?
At our campus in Amsterdam, you’ll create and manage cloud hosting environments (mainly Azure). Your task: carefully maintaining our customers’ cloud environments, and offering teams guidance with implementing solutions. Aside from that, you’ll support, automate and integrate test scripts in the CI pipelines. And it’s your responsibility to ensure our cloud environments follow the latest guidelines and innovations.
At iO, knowledge is extremely important. Of course, that goes beyond just keeping up with your profession. You’ll grow by taking on challenging projects with your team, but you’ll also get plenty of opportunities for self-development beyond that. For example, you can participate in Expert Groups or meet-ups. And of course, you can also organise moments of knowledge sharing yourself.
Your qualities and skills as DevOps Engineer
- You have experience with Cloud platforms, with a focus on Azure PaaS and SaaS, ARM/Bicep, Azure CLI or Powershell and/or Terraform templates;
- You like to work with Azure, pipelines and scripts and you always do this meticulously. Safety and performance are of great value to you;
- You share your knowledge and coach teams with a variety of specialisms;
- You spot opportunities for improvement immediately and you’re quick to react on them;
- You know how to debug issues using app insights, logging and diagnostics;
- You are interested in techniques such as React, Vue, Angular, .Net, SQL, ASP.Net Web API and MVC. Platforms such as Umbraco and Sitecore are also part of the job.
