Your role

Will you help our clients advance with the perfect data architecture?

As a Data Engineer, you will join our ambitious Data & Intelligence team. You will design data architectures for our teams — primarily focused around digital marketing and sales data.

Together with the client and your team, you help organisations tackle their challenges with data. You will design, build, and maintain bespoke data pipelines and platforms that will push projects forward. In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining data pipelines on clients' cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and setting up a modern data stack (ETL, data warehouse, dbt, reverse ETL).

At Campus Herentals, our culture is everything. In other words, we find it incredibly important that our colleagues work in a stimulating environment. That's why we offer you access to a fitness centre on campus and dozens of new colleagues who can’t wait to welcome you.

But it's not just on a personal level that we help you grow. We also love seeing our colleagues grow professionally. With a personal career development track, a substantial training budget, and regular training sessions and workshops on campus, your five-year plan will truly become reality.

Your qualities and skills as Data Engineer

  • You have a degree with a strong affiliation in market research (or 3 years of relevant experience);

  • You communicate clearly in English and Dutch, both in speech and in writing;

  • You write clean, maintainable, and robust code according to best practices (in Python, SQL, or any other language for pipeline development);

  • You have an affinity for digital analytics and data tools (Tableau, Data Studio, Google Analytics, Adobe) and you have an interest in machine learning engineering;

  • You take the bull by the horns, and you are result-driven and flexible.
