Your role

iO is looking for an enthusiastic Account Manager to join our team within the Client Services department. Thanks to your technological background and commercial insight, you know perfectly how to translate strategy into an executable project.

As Account Manager, you are responsible for maintaining and expanding our client relationships. You will work closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.

As an Account Manager, you will be the first point of contact for our customers. You will build strong relationships and ensure that our customers are satisfied with our services. You will understand our client's goals and work with internal teams to ensure these goals are met.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a commercial attitude, and good knowledge and understanding of technology. You have experience in building and maintaining client relationships. You are proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently. In addition, you are energized by business proposals, budgets, and deadlines.

Your qualities and skills as Technical Account Manager

  • You have at least 4 years of experience as an Account Manager in an agency with a passion for digital IT, web development, etc., and more specifically in e-commerce platforms and in CMS systems such as e.g. WordPress, Drupal, Craft CMS, etc.
  • New e-commerce & content websites, custom technology solutions & integrations, building platforms, conceptual technical knowledge, etc are your cup of tea (or chai latte).
  • You are the one who builds long-term relationships with your clients: you make sure they trust iO and inform management about upcoming and ongoing projects.
  • You get excited to make relevant proposals and win deals based on account targets (turnover, satisfaction, etc). You are proactive and advisory towards your customer.
  • You are a people person and involve the right profiles in the right project and stimulate cooperation with the various departments within iO.
  • You are ultimately responsible for the budgets, annual plans and projects. You understand the importance of a well-oiled team and you actively coach your account executives and managers to do their best work and grow.
  • You are a hero in Project management: you are solution-driven, flexible, results-oriented, and independent.
  • The Account Executive with whom you work closely is lucky - you know how to guide and co-manage their workload perfectly
  • You communicate clearly and convincingly to your team and clients. Your oral and written knowledge of Dutch and English is excellent. (French is a bonus)
